Brilliant day from start to finish. Pick up in Brisbane CBD, minibus transport. Our bus could hold a max of 12 participants (we had 11) plus host. Ben, our guide, was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful - nothing was too much trouble. After ferry, a short drive, stopped for bat viewing and then a lovely slow coastal walk 45-60min with spectacular ocean views and a chance to spot wildlife. Today we saw turtles, dolphins, kangaroos, golden orb spiders, skinks and an array of birds. The walk is mostly on a board walk, quite a lot of stairs and a few options to walk out on rocky cliff edges. Lunch at Point Lookout - bring your own or lots of purchase options- bakery, fish and chips, sushi, prawn shack (delicious prawn rolls), even a bit more stylish restaurant. Next a chance to swim, play or walk at Cylinders Beach 1.5 hours.. Warm waters, safe patrolled beach. Koala spotting stop on way back to ferry, sunset ferry ride back. Aussie tunes on bus! Great small group tour

A magical tour of North Stradbroke Island. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into the way they operate. Antonin was kind, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and overall a great guide. The tour included plenty of opportunities to view wildlife, flexibility for us to venture off from the group during lunch and beach time. The water and sand at Cylinder Beach is beautiful, and warm. Peaceful at this time of year, not too crowded. In the end, we took some detours, on the way back to the ferry, to spots to view more koalas and kangaroos as we didn’t get to see many on the North Gorge walk. It’s clear Antonin strives to portray the importance of history of the island, its wildlife and respecting the flora and fauna. Would highly recommend, suitable for all ages. Wildlife seen: kookaburras, dolphins, sea turtles, manta ray, kangaroos, koalas, and more! Any animal lovers dream, Merci!

It was a wet and cloudy day but we had the best time! There were many animals on this tour. We spotted Kangaroos, dolphins, turtles and koalas. It was so serene. The island is equipped with all things for ordinary life yet in parts, the island felt untouched and wildlife is everywhere. If you are looking for an authentic intimate experience this tour is it. Anto was very flexible, considerate, approachable and a good animal spotter :)

Tours run rain or shine. Straddie is beautiful in any weather and most of the day involves protected vehicles and sheltered lookouts. In rainy weather we tend to see more wildlife — animals come out, roads quieten, and the rainforest comes alive. In the rare case of severe weather we cancel, you get a full reschedule or refund.

Lunch isn't included on our tour. Your guide will point out the best local lunch options on the day so you can pick whatever takes your fancy.
